Break time!

Hey guys. I get a bit of a break from classes which is great. My summer term just ended yesterday and the fall one doesn't begin until the first week of October. My grandma is coming out next week, which should be cool. This Saturday I'm going to a local coffee shop to listen to an adult contemporary Christian group perform. I've made a habit out of nightly walks on the campus. Good exercise, a great way to clear my head, and a way to get used to being in that environment before I begin classes. Tonight I tried to burn a copy of Evanescence for my sis and it didn't work. Not sure why. My computer is still dying. When I turned it on today it made an awful grinding noise for 15 minutes. We could replace the part but it's $60 I'd much rather put into a new system. Still haven't convinced the folks. On top of that, I had 4 infected files that had a Trojan virus and a ton of crappy software came with it. Virus is gone...software remains. I have a poker game, horoscope, bingo, etc. and I have deleted 100 things and there is still crap there. Now when I go online I get rerouted to lousy sites I have no interest in. AAAAAAAAH. Ok, that was good. In a positive note, I've been very happy today which shows signs of improvement. Looks like I'll be done with one of the meds I've been on for several years. In a week it's adios. Send up a few prayers that this works exactly like my doctor and I are hoping. Going into Lincoln tomorrow to help Mom with some stuff as well as sell back my books to the college. I may also take some CDs to a store that buys used ones. What can I say? I need the cash bad. I've gone through my CD stash just looking for things I could part with in order to get a couple bucks. I had plans on a job on the local campus but I think the spots are full. Looks like I'll just keep doing my cleaning job while looking for new work opportunities. Two people are coming to the house this weekend to scrape the chipped paint of of the north and south sides of the house so I can finally get going on them. In a short while we should be getting the gutters installed. The screens and glass panes should be going up in 2 or 3 of the windows soon as well.
Today is the feast day of St. Padre Pio of Italy. He is the first male stigmatist (one who recieves the wounds of Christ) since St. Francis (the very first stigmatist). He is known for many miracles, including restoring sight to a girl who was born without pupils in her eyes. May he send blessings to all of you! I'll make him the "Saint of the Day" rather than posting a Song of the Day.
