Moving on
Hopefully the last posts were informative and helpful to anyone who read them. I'm going to move on and let you know what's up with me. I'm now working a full-time job selling home entertainment items such as CDs, DVDs, computers, TVs, stereos and the like. I just got a raise from the overall company (love it when they decide to up wages) and another raise specifically for being there 3 months and doing hard work. I have unloaded a semi of merch. without being asked (no one seemed to notice, but whatever) and I do a lot of cleaning and odd jobs to pass the time and to show I'm a good worker. It's nice to be making decent money and getting loans paid off. I hope to get a newer car this year, so I'm starting the search now to know what stuff costs, what models I'd like, etc. I also will be moving into my first apartment this spring (I'm a grown up?!) More details in a couple months prolly.
This year has been pretty good--would be great if it weren't for everyone having the plague. I started the year with a flu that I got Christmas week. After 2 weeks of wellness, I got strep throat. I knew as soon as I got up for work that I had it but no one bought it. I went to work feeling tired and my extremities were cold and achy. As the day went on I got more tired, warmer, and sicker to my stomach. Went home and had a temp of 101.3. I'm hoping I get a leave of absence for the missed week.
I've been composing and writing poetry between work and bedtime or on days off. So far I have gotten a great deal done on a Requiem (funeral mass) I'm composing. I have the opening "Requiem aeternam", the Lamb of God "Agnus Dei", and part of Day of Wrath "Dies Irae". Of course, I'm doing a lot of research on history, music, and Catholicism so I do it all right.
I'm currently without internet, so I'm not on anymore except at Dad's office when I clean (my source of cel. phone money).
I've applied for a job as Asst. Dir. of Youth Ministries for the Diocese but I never got an interview--I know they're terribly busy in that office, so I'm not worried, plus I may decide working here is better anyway, but it's an option and would connect me in great ways.
Thanks for reading--sorry for taking so long to update. Please email me or post a comment so we all know who's alive out there.
Song of the Day: "Across the Universe" by the Beatles cuz I just bought that movie.
