Stuff, things, and issues...no big whoop

Blogger is messed up--it tries to turn everything into html now. I don't like that. Anywho, I am so so. Missed some classes, got some understanding and some idiots that I'd like to smack. Been working pretty hard and doing better in the fitness dept. I have a pain in my right side that I'm looking into tomorrow at the ol' clinic to see if my appendix wants to explode. Wish me luck.
I made cookies tonight, by request. I've become everyone's live-in chef. I make supper and desserts. Tonight's special: M&M minis cookies. I've made cranberry orange biscotti, cappucino cookies, oatmeal raisin, coffee cookies, spritz, and more. I'll send y'all some--give me an addy and some $$.
Mom gets home tomorrow. House will be busier, things will go back to the way they were over a week ago. I've enjoyed the space, but I enjoy her presence too.
I got to work writing last night. Came up with 2 verses and 2 'choruses' to a new song that is really good. Very David Gray like. Maybe I'll figure out how to post sound thingys.
Cleaned the PC today--fans were full of dust and kept overheating and junk. Now it's all cool and happy! :) Can't figure out why the front doesn't light up anymore though...

Classes and stuff

So here's what I'm taking: Music Theory II, Aural Skills II, Voice, Lifetime Wellness, Stress Management, Lutheran Service, Servant Leadership, and Chorale.

Classes have been pretty good thus far. I'm not terribly thrilled about many of them, but they are required. In fact, nothing I'm taking is truly out of choice, but out of necessity. How Lutheran Service is a necessity, I don't know. I'm not Lutheran, I won't be doing church music as a career, I'm not in the Church Music degree program, and I could give a flying leap about some of the things I've read thus far.

Grams isn't well yet, dad refuses to get his other tests, etc.

here's to '06

Well, 2005 is gone. A great deal has happened in the last year. I went through my 05 calendar to remind myself of what I've done and gone through in the year, and it amazed me. I'm looking forward to this new year and have a feeling of hope about it. Some aspects of 05 left me longing for better. Let's hope this 1st week isn't an indication of the year to come though...
My grams went back to the hospital for a procedure, but was taken home the same day. Yesterday, my dad complained of pain and asked to go the doctor, which he NEVER does, so we knew it wasn't good. After bloodwork and a CAT scan, it turns out he has kidney stones, high blood pressure, and evidence of organ failure showing in his blood. He doesn't show any interest in going in for the requested 2nd doctor visit. I'm still 'sick' with this coldish stuff, one sis has the flu, mom has what i have. Prayers are great, people--keep em coming.
School starts back up in a week. I've got the jobs and 13 credit hours this time around. Wanted to get a little bit of added study/relaxation time from last sem.
I'm starting back on the Abs Diet, and I now actually own the book, so I don't have to start and stop as I check the library's copy in and out. Here's to a better me in 6 weeks or so!
