Comment option added!

Hey, got some time so I installed a link for comments. Below each posting will be a hyperlink that says "comments." Please feel free to 'chat' in there and I will do my best to read and respond.
Thanks!

Good day afterall

Ok, I got someone to work for me and didn't have to deal with the job tonight which allows me to focus on my 19.5 credit hours of this new term and all the work that ensues. This is very pleasing to me, showing me once again that God is a merciful one who IS listening to me. I am working on class stuff as I write this (I needed a brain break) and have been reading Virginia Woolf. I find her writing more scattered and confusing than my own, which says a lot!
Today's Song of the Day is "Mercies New" by Nicole Nordeman with Bebo Norman. Very good tune with inspiring lyrics!
I have to get back to the work! Pray for me, I'll pray for you ok?

What a day

Today has been kinda crazy. I started Spring Term and have more reading and definately more writing than I had ever planned on. Maybe these weren't the courses to take at the same time. I am in a state of mass anxiety worrying how to do my two jobs on top of more than 18 credit hours of work each week.
I am supposed to work tomorrow, but I have an exam in Biology and much work in the other classes. I have tried to get a replacement, but no one is available. I don't even want to think about talking to my boss, but I may have to. It amazes me how people who do not ask for the day off have events to go to and activities they are involved in. If you know this, why aren't you putting it on the days off list so we know not to call you? We need another employee. Boss doesn't get it. I'd quit if I had somewhere else to go.
In a positive note--I have met a 'friend' who shares much in common with me. We do most talking online though we have met in person a couple times. I have been invited to his dorm to play some music and share my own work. This could be a great thing for me since I rarely show others (outside of great friends and family members) my music. It will take some guts on my behalf though! Here goes something.
The Song of the Day is "Calmer of the Storm" by downhere.

Adventures in Steve World

Today I had to go to the bookstore to get the textbooks for Spring term which starts tomorrow (Tuesday). I will be taking 3 new classes and one continuing class. The 3 new ones had a total of 13 books and 1 video...looks like I've got my work cut out for me! I have major anxiety/panic issues and I happened to have a major attack while waiting on my books (which they didn't have me down for even though I was told they did). A nice lady at the store suggested I get a free bottle of water (on ice no less) and that helped ease things a bit. Note to readers...small kindness is profound, even when you, the giver, don't see it. Try doing something small yet profound this week!
In other news, my Song of the Day is "Have a Little Faith in Me," the very popular tv/movie song that is used all the time. I won't list an artist because various have done versions--find the one that you like best.
If you read this and think there is anything noteworthy, please tell a friend! I will try to get back to ya soon,
Steve

New Idea

Hey you guys...
I think I'm gonna start doing a "song of the day." Though this may not actually be daily, it will be the song of the day on the day I write a posting. I am a singer/songwriter, but out of plagarism fears, I shall not post my own stuff until I gain total legal control of my stuff. Until then, I will suggest songs I like and find interesting and hope you give them a listen.
Today's Song of the Day is:
David Gray's "This Year's Love" from the "White Ladder" CD.
Enjoy,
Steve

Just for Billie

My good friend Billie is at MMC where she has no life...just kidding hon! But really, it isn't a hotspot for entertainment, so I'll write something to entertain her. Went to work last night. Not too shabby and the boss wasn't there which made things better. I have been working on new music and hope to record something...ANYTHING...by the time summer is through. Here's hoping for a new computer with a burner and music software!
In other news, my mom is at a retreat and dad's at work so the house is mine. No surprise that on my "free day" it should be gray and pouring rain! What's up with that? Oh well, I guess I'll just chill with my computer, my music, and my cat Milo.
If I come up with a genius comment, I'll reply again soon, otherwise a good friend (aka Billie) will have to prompt me!
Steve-O (don't actually call me that please)

Troubles at work

Today I was having what I thought was a great day. I got a check in the mail that I didn't expect and it just happens to about cover the bill for my car repairs. Everything was great until I went to work. I was lectured and diminished for a half hour while my boss went off on me (without complete reason to). Can I help it if I was sick? Can I help it if my boss never has the schedule done and when we think we have it figured out she changes it last minute? Don't cry for me Argentina, but I need to vent because I have had enough. You work at a place for over 2 years and work harder than 95% of the people that are employed there and you're threatened with being fired for no great reason...what up huh?
Hello to my great friend Billie who may be reading this...hope so...someone has to!
Laters all,
Steve

Problems with reader response

Hey all,
I had a reader response thingy on the side of the screen so a chat could be goin' on, but it was messing up my computer with pop-ups and junk so I deleted it. I'll try to find a better one so readers can connect. This is all new to me so we'll see what happens!

Hello all (or any). My name is Stephen (Steve if you prefer). I've been thinking about starting one of these thingys since I read how easy it was in a thing from Abercrombie and Fitch (which I don't much care to shop at anymore). Anyway, I'm a musician who is trying to go somewhere but not sure where that is. As you can imagine, that makes it all the harder to get there!
I hope you enjoy my postings and I will enjoy hearing from you. I can't say how often I'll post things, but I guess the more viewers I have, the more postings I'll want to do!
Have a great one everybody!
Steve
